Forza Horizon 5 Series 1 Summer: the treasure chest location!

Getting through the festival playlist? You'll need to complete this week's treasure hunt! Here's the location of the treasure chest.

Forza Horizon 5 treasure chests

Some of the ideas in Forza Horizon 5 were tested out in the DLC for the previous game. Completing clues to gain treasure chests were a feature in Fortune Island. We're told the clues will be tougher than this week's one, going forward.

Completing the treasure hunt is easy when you've worked out the answer. Complete the task hinted at by the clue, then you'll need to find the treasure chest somewhere nearby.

Heights of Mulege treasure hunt

This week it's pretty straightforward. You'll need the C8 Corvette that was one of the starter cars. Next, you'll need to get two stars on the danger sign just to the north of Mulege. It's best approached by either of the two tracks you can see leading from the highway. If you're struggling, head back to the festival site and add some power to your Corvette!

The next step is to find the treasure chest. We've done the hard work for you and discovered it behind these polytunnels on the north west of Mulege. Take a look at the map below:

This is where you can find this week's treasure chest

The treasure chests look the same as the Fortune Island chests did. In time, we expect the clues to be similarly confusing to those in the Forza Horizon 4 DLC. If you're not sure what you're looking for, here's a photo of it just before we smashed it to retrieve our credits:

You're looking for one of these

There's an achievement for finding a treasure chest in each season of a series, so getting this one will be a good start towards that! Either way, you'll earn 50,000 credits. That's a decent haul for a couple of minutes hunting!
