Say goodbye to Series 7 and hello to Forza Horizon 5 Series 8!
Summer has arrived in Mexico with new reward cars and challenges to complete. The first season of Series 8 has a Treasure Hunt and Photo Challenge to complete and unlock extra rewards.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 8 Summer
Starting today from 3.30pm BST, Series 8 Summer runs from 26 May to 1 June.
After Series 7 featured five Ferraris, Series 8 is a celebration of “German Automotive Excellence.”
As the name suggests, Series 8 features a stash of German cars for you to complete. This week, you can earn the Porsche 959 at 40 points and 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS4 at 20 points.
Reward cars
Continuing the German car theme, completing this week’s “Stock Showdown” Trial gives you the keys to the Mercedes-AMG C63. You can also win the 2010 Volkswagen Golf R by completing the “Down the Hatch” Seasonal Playground Games.
Other reward cars in this week’s season include the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, unlocked for completing the “Meet and Street” Seasonal Championship. The Mercedes-Benz 190E can also be yours for completing the “Pick Me Up” Seasonal Championship.
Finally, completing a Horizon Open race in any German vehicle unlocks the 2013 BMW M6.
Photo Challenge
In this week’s Photo Challenge, you need to photograph the 2010 Volkswagen Golf R at Club de Ópalo de Fuego. Your reward is a Light Blue High Top.
Treasure Hunt
Not only is there a Photo Challenge, but there’s also a Treasure Hunt to complete in this week’s Festival Playlist. Featuring the Porsche Taycan, the Power Up Treasure Hunt has the following clue: “It's time to get electric in the clover zone!”

Forzathon Weekly Challenge
This week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge stars the sleek. 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. Chapter 1 requires you to own and drive the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. For Chapter 2, you need to take a photo of it and admire its striking styling.
Utilising its potent performance, earn nine stars at Speed Traps in the SLK 55 AMG to complete Chapter 3. Finally, bank a 100,000 Skill Score to complete Chapter 4.
