Is there Forza Horizon 5 for PS4?

Playstation players are used to getting the pick of the crop, as far as console exclusives go. For years, Xbox players have looked on with jealousy at Playstation titles. But now as the Forza Horizon 5 launch nears, we're starting to see that tide turn. Is there Forza Horizon 5 for PS4?

Who makes the Forza games?

Forza game development is split between two studios. These are Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. Turn 10 is responsible for the Forza Motorsport series. Playground Games uses the car models and physics engine that Turn 10 create to produce Forza Horizon games.

The two studios, owned by Microsoft, are part of the Xbox Game Studios umbrella. As first party titles, this means they're available on the Xbox Game Pass.

What can I play Forza Horizon 5 on?

Forza Horizon 5 will be available for the Xbox One line of consoles. It'll also be on the newer Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. PC gamers will be pleased to hear that as with its predecessor, Forza Horizon 5 is also coming to PC. You can buy the latest Forza Horizon game through the Windows store or Steam.

Playstation fans are out of luck though. Forza Horizon 5 will not be coming to the Playstation, as with all the previous Forza games.

What Playstation racing games are there?

If you play racing games on a Playstation, the big one is Gran Turismo. We've just recently seen the announcement of Gran Turismo 7. Xbox players won't be able to play GT7, so there's pros and cons of each system.

You'll also be able to play the official F1 games. Admittedly, these are very different from the forgiving handling and open-world nature of the Forza Horizon games!
