Forza Monthly Modern Horizons celebrates some of the most popular cars that have been produced in the past decade.
Forza Horizon 5 is a few years old now, but the open-world arcade racer is still receiving regular updates. Developers Playground Games are always adding new content to Horizon 5 and today's update is no different.
There's new cars, festival playlists as well as EventLab prop items included in the Forza Horizon 5 Modern Horizons update. Here's everything you need to know about it!
Forza Monthly Modern Horizons
We all love retro content, but it's also important to be thankful for the cars that are on the market today.
Modern Horizons is bringing a whole heap of current Reward Cars as well as events to try them out in!
One of the highlights is definitely a much-requested car from the Forza Community. This is the Toyota Yaris GR, a car which shares a lot of its DNA with the Toyota World Rally Championship car.
With these cars being modern, quite a few of them are electric-powered. You might think that will reduce their power, but you'd be wrong.
One of these cars, for example, has as much horsepower as most Lamborghini cars. Let's dive into the full list of Modern Horizons content.
Reward Cars
Starting with the Series as a whole, there's an exclusive car available to players in the form of the 2023 Kia EV6 GT. This electric car from Korea is available for 80 Points.
The futuristic Raesr TS from 2019 is the other car available from the overall series and is available for 160 in-game Points.
For Summer (June 20 - 26) there's the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for 20 Points and Porsche MissionR for 40 Points.
In Autumn (June 27 - July 3), The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq N is available for 20 Points, with the 2023 Nissan Z on offer for 40 Points.

Lastly, in Spring (Jul 11 - 17), the exclusive car is the 2023 Porsche Taycan CT, which is available for for 20 Points. The other car available for 40 Points is the #14 Ford Fiesta Rally Car.

EventLab Props
EventLab is getting some love in the Modern Horizons Update too, with no less than 16 new pieces of road available in this update.
These focus on highways, with you being able to create realistic bends like they're from the real world throughout your customized tracks!
These pieces include Highway Pillars, Highway Short Curves, Lane Splits, Junctions, Lane Merges, medium & long Inclines, generic Highway Roads and Short Highway Roads.
Universal Icons Car Pack
The last thing that was detailed in the livestream from Playground Games definitely wasn't the least important with this monthly update.
The Universal Icons Car Pack will be available from June 18 as a separate purchase in addition to the Modern Horizons Update.
Cars from iconic franchises such as Back to the Future are in this update, so if you want to reject modernity and embrace tradition, this part of the new wave of content may be more up your street!
