Forza Horizon 4 is still active though and Playground Games shared some interesting info on which cars have seen the most driving time in Great Britain. Let's take a look!
The 90s dominate Horizon 4 freeroam
Of the ten cars most driven in Forza Horizon 4, six are from the 1990s. This is an interesting era of automotive history where power and handling improved dramatically but the simple driving experience had yet to give way to the modern world of safety features and computer technology.
It could be that Forza Horizon players are nostalgic for the cars of their youth. It could also be that 90s vehicles are increasingly seen as accessible classics. Whatever the reason, the 1990s are popular with Horizon drivers!
Japan takes the crown
Six Japanese cars are on the list, four of which are from the Nissan marque. It looks like Japan's reputation for engineering and style makes them popular with Horizon players.
Generally Japanese cars are fairly cheap in Forza Horizon as they are in real life, but with the performance to beat many more expensive European and American models. They also often offer more cosmetic customisation options than other cars too. Letting players express themselves more.
Drifters put the time in
This list of the most driven cars by total time is almost entirely made up of cars suitable for drifting. Three of the Formula Drift car pack are included, and arguably every other car on the list is a fun drive sideways.
In fact, all of these cars are rear-wheel drive, which suggests this is the preferred layout of most Forza Horizon players. This is despite the dominance of all-wheel drive in online Forza racing.
The Formula Drift car pack was a free add-on for the base Forza Horizon 4 game and so many players have spent plenty of time in these vehicles.
