Gran Turismo is one of the best racing game series of all-time and we can't wait for its next instalment. Thanks to Polyphony's updates, we've now got a release date, gameplay and know plenty about Gran Turismo 7.
GT7's release date is sooner than we hoped. GT7 will be the first Gran Turismo released for the PlayStation 5 and will come with an exciting variety of editions to choose from.

Gran Turismo 7 release date
GT7's official release date is 4 March, 2022. This is much earlier than we expected, albeit later than originally planned!
This trailer at the PlayStation Showcase was massive and revealed a lot of details that we've been craving. Fans got the best look at GT7 yet through this and our knowledge-base has expanded even more since then:

Standard edition
Every game releases with its standard edition available. This is the most basic version of the title that people can buy, and often includes just the title itself.
The standard edition comes in at £59.99 for the PS4, and £69.99 for the PS5 version. Those who are hoping to get their hands on a PS5 in the future should definitely think about getting the PS4 versions, as you can upgrade from this version to the PS5 version for just £10.
25th Anniversary Edition
Also known as the Special Edition for PS5, this version of the game celebrates 25 years of the awesome franchise and comes with a host of added extras. It comes in at £89.99, a significant investment for any game, but worth it in our eyes.
Namely, you'll get 1,500,000CR, a Special Toyota GR Yaris, 30 PSN Avatars, and the Official Soundtrack. This will be awesome to show just how much of a Gran Turismo fan you really are!
You'll also get the game in a steelbook case, which will include both a PS4 and PS5 versions.
