Gran Turismo 7 receives rating in Australia

With the world seemingly once again on a knife-edge, there are some nerves about upcoming games getting pushed back.

Having waited for more than 18 months already, racers are understandably worried about Gran Turismo 7 getting caught up in any future disruption.

However, that seems unlikely thanks to the game getting its first official rating.

Gran Turismo 7 rating

Games get officially rated as they near completion and official release, which is why this is good news for anxious PlayStation racers.

GT7 is the most anticipated racing game in years, and it's delay from a 2021 release hit players hard. But it looks like the current release date of 4 March 2022 is now locked in.

The rating comes from Australia and covers both the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game. While Australia is notoriously strict around gaming, even they can't find much to ping GT7 on.

The game gets a G rating for "general", the most family-friendly category in Australia. This is across both the PS5 and PS4 versions.

GT7 will be a dose of nostalgia

The upcoming Gran Turismo 7 game should put the franchise back on track after Gran Turismo Sport somewhat split the fanbase.

The focus on online play came at the detriment of offline single-player modes, but it looks like GT7 will blend both of these aspects into one awesome title.
