Gran Turismo 7 update 1.38 is finally out! Racers everywhere have been starved for content within GT7, and with Forza Motorsport just a week away, Polyphony would be wise to give their players a reason to stick with GT7 in this update.

Unfortunately, they didn't consider that when it came to this update, giving players one of the weakest updates to GT7 yet.

So what do players get from update 1.38? Let's take a look!

Gran Turismo 7 update 1.38

The update is now rolling out across PlayStation servers, which means the servers are down and GT7 is basically unplayable. The game should be back online shortly, at which point players will be able to enjoy what this update has to offer.

Once you've installed the 3.81 GB patch, players will get access to the meagre offering of update 1.38.

The three cars for this update are the Honda Civic Type R '22, the Garage RCR Civic, and the Mazda3 Gr.4. So no surprises after the teaser tweet at the weekend. It's nice to see two normal cars added and the Gr.4 roster expanded, but we could have done with more here.

There are also two new Extra Menus, which only ask you to own a trio of cars rather than complete races. These are No.29 Porsche Supercars and No.30 GR.

There's also new Scapes spots at a Nissan plant and a trio of new races. That's it. Yea, not ideal...
