A new set of Gran Turismo 7 weekly challenges has arrived with a reasonable set of rewards for completing five fun races.

If you can pick up a clean race bonus in every race this week you'll leave with more than 870,000 credits and a six-star roulette ticket. That's not as much as some weeks in pure credits, but the chance to take home an expensive car can make up for that shortfall.

Japanese 4WD Challenge 600

The first race this week is two laps around Trial Mountain in Japanese 4WD cars.

With no PP limit you can take your best Skyline or Impreza into this one and run away from the competition with ease.

European Clubman Cup 600

Next up we're off to Sardegna for another uncapped PP race. In this one you can take any European road car so just grab the fastest VGT you have and crush the competition.

Our recommendation is the Ferrari VGT, but anything will work given the length of the straights here.

Special Event

This week's special event takes players to Lago Maggiore for four laps in the Volvo V40 T5 R-Design '13.

As a single-make race there's no PP limit here, so you might want to tune up your Volvo to make sure you can run away from the competition with ease.

Historic Sports Car Masters

The restrictions for this race are very specific. Your car has to be made between 1960 and 1989, be a road car, and have a PP of 580 or less. While that sounds highly restrictive, you can actually take a selection of outstanding vehicles here.

The BMW M3 '89 qualifies, as does the Golf I GTI '83 and a variety of classic European sports cars and American muscle. We suggest something modern and nimble due to the flowing nature of the Goodwood circuit.

World Touring Car 800

The final race of the week is the most lucrative, offering 200,000 credits for the win. To secure victory we recommend taking a detuned Gr.1 or Gr.2 car. The Toyota GT-One is a great choice, but you can't really go wrong with a powerful old race car.

These cars may be a touch slow in a straight line with reduced power but they have the downforce to give you great cornering speeds and if you utilise a lower engine mode you won't have to pit for fuel either.
