GT7 Weekly Challenges October Week 1: All Races, Requirements, and Rewards

It's October Week 1, and Gran Turismo 7 has added five new challenges for players to take part in over the next week. 

This week's challenges take place on two original circuit-type tracks and three real-world circuits. As always, there is also a special event for you to participate in.

Each of these five weekly races in Gran Turismo 7 has unique requirements, including car types, tire types, and the number of laps. So let's find out everything about each one of these five races in the GT7 weekly challenge for October Week 1.

Lake Louise Short – Japanese 4WD Challenge 600

The first race this week is the Japanese 4WD Challenge 600 at the Lake Louise Short, a 2.5 km long original circuit-type track in Canada. To win this 4-lap race, you are allowed to use any four-wheel-drive road/tuned car from Japan equipped with snow tires. Winning this race will earn you 38,000 cr.

Grand Valley South Reverse – Historic Sports Car Masters

The second race is the Historic Sports Car Masters at the Grand Valley South Reverse, a 3 km long original circuit-type track in the USA. To win this 5-lap-long race, you are allowed to use any American road car manufactured between 1960 and 1989 that has a peak performance limit of less than 580 PP. Winning this race will earn you 55,000 cr.

Watkins Glen Short – Special Event

Up next is the special event at the Watkins Glen Short, a 3.9 km long real-world circuit-type track in the USA. To win this 4-lap-long race, players are allowed to use the Hyundai Elantra N'23, and winning it will earn them 55,000 cr.

Nürburgring GP – Vision Gran Turismo Trophy

The fourth race takes place in the Vision Gran Turismo Trophy at the Nürburgring GP, a 5.1 km long real-world circuit-type track in Germany. To win this 5-lap-long race, you are allowed to use any Vision GT car that has a peak performance limit of less than 850 PP. Winning this race will earn you 100,000 cr.

Autopolis International – World Touring Car 800

The last race this week is the World Touring Car 800 at the Autopolis International, a 4.6 km long real-world circuit-type track in Japan. To win this 10-lap race, you are allowed to use any car equipped with racing tires and a performance limit of less than 800 PP. Winning this race will earn you 160,000 cr.

Any rewards you win will be available as credit tickets, redeemable in the Gifts Section of your garage. Completing one event will offer you a Six-Star (Parts) Ticket; three will offer a 15,000 cr ticket; and completing the full set will get you a Six-Star (Car) Ticket.

To access these weekly challenges, you must have completed the GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie.
