Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges March 2024 Week 2

After a short hiatus, Gran Turismo 7’s Weekly Challenges have returned with a fresh set of events to complete. In a shakeup to the schedule, GT7’s Weekly Challenges will now start on Fridays instead of Thursdays.

This week’s challenges bring a new special event featuring Renault’s answer to the Citroen 2CV. On the other side of the spectrum is a high-stakes 950-PP event in GR.1 prototypes.

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges March 2024 Week 2

GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.

This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 8 March at midnight local time and end on 15 March at the same time.

Special Event – Renault R4 GTL One-Make

Alsace – Village Reverse - 2 laps

First up is a Special Event one-make race starring the Renault R4 GTL; Renault’s answer to the Citroen 2CV. Introduced in update 1.43 last week, the R4 can be bought in the Used Car Dealership.

There are no PP restrictions, so you can tune it up to increase its performance. For victory in this two-lap race at Alsace, you'll take home 60,000 credits.

European Clubman Cup 600

Suzuka Circuit – 3 laps

For the next event at Suzuka, you’ll need a European road car rated 600 PP or less. With 20 cars on the grid, you’ll be racing a mix of classic and modern European sports cars, from the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm to a 1990s Porsche 911 Carrera RS. Finishing first will net you 60,000 credits.

Ferrari Circuit Challenge

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP layout – 5 laps

Next, we’re heading to the Barcelona circuit for a five-lap race in Ferraris. As the name suggests, you’ll need a Prancing Horse to enter this event. There’s a 700-PP restriction, so you’ll be facing tough competition against 15 opponents. Take the win, and you’ll earn 95,000 credits.

Schwarzwald League

Circuit de Sainte-Croix - B – 4 laps

Celebrating German automotive excellence, the Penultimate event takes place at the Circuit de Sainte-Croix in France. You can enter any German car in this event but there’s a 700-PP restriction like the last event, with 80,000 credits up for grabs if you finish in pole position.

GR.1 Prototype Series

Daytona Road Course – 10 laps

As is traditional, the final race is the most gruelling. There’s not only a steep 950-PP limit, but you’ll also have to contend with a 10x fuel consumption rate and 12x tyre wear rate. You’ll also need Racing Hard tyres for this event. It’s worth the effort though, as you’ll get a lucrative 115,000 credit reward for first place.

For this week’s bonus rewards, you’ll get a 100,000 credit ticket for completing one event, a 150,000 credit ticket for three events, and a six-star roulette car ticket for conquering all five.

Remember that you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to earn these rewards.
