How to get rain in Gran Turismo Sport

Racing in the rain certainly adds an extra layer to the challenge and fun to Gran Turismo Sport.

While previous editions of the game had dynamic weather conditions, Gran Turismo Sport unfortunately has rain as an option at only a handful of its courses. Here, we'll look at exactly where you can find wet weather racing.

Which Gran Turismo tracks have rain?

At the moment, rain is only available at just a handful of circuits. These are the Red Bull Ring in Austria, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and the Tokyo Expressway tracks.

Wet weather can also appear at the Northern Isle Speedway during the Driving School tests.

Will dynamic weather be available in Gran Turismo 7?

The arrival of Gran Turismo 7 is on hold after it was recently announced that the release of the next game has been delayed until 2022.

Although not confirmed just yet, eagle-eyed gamers did notice in the trailer that dynamic clouds could be seen above the Trial Mountain circuit. That could signal that day/night cycles and weather are back in the mix for GT7, as they were in GT5 and GT6 back in the day.
