How to get safety cars in Gran Turismo Sport

Gran Turismo Sport has a large variety of vehicles, all of which you are more than welcome to race.

There are some, however, that are really something special.

This includes the game's multiple safety cars, which are in fact beasts on the track. Here’s how you can unlock them!

GT Sport Safety Cars

There are three safety cars in GT Sport, each of which are 'safety' versions of some pretty mean road and racing machinery.

These are the BMW M4, the Nissan GT-R and the Mercedes AMG GT, each of which are competent racers in their own rights.

Excitingly so, the safety car versions of these vehicles all have working lights, which really adds to the immersion.

How to unlock the safety cars

Safety cars are most commonly found in the Miles Exchange and can be bought for mileage points.

This is true for the BMW M4 and the Mercedes AMG GT at least, which feature in a rotation in the shop.

The Nissan has to be unlocked by completing the Driving School, and getting all gold medals from it.

Gran Turismo 7

The arrival of Gran Turismo 7 is still on the horizon, although it was recently announced that the release of the game will be delayed until 2022.
