Inevitably, in all of our racing game careers, it gets to the stage where we're ready to lose all of the assists, and start working on our own cars.
Well, not in real-life, but in the game. That's right, we're talking about tuning cars.
So, let's take a look at how you go about tuning a car in GT Sport, and when you should do it!
Tuning your car
The first thing you should consider is whether or not you are ready to tune you car. Obviously, you can tune your car whenever you wish.
However, have you found consistency in your driving yet? If the answer is a yes, and you're still lagging behind, then you setup may be the answer.
Firstly, it's important to consider the car you're using, and more importantly, the track.
How to tune
First of all, when doing daily races and so on, your cars will be affected by BOP and many setups are fixed. However, if not, there is always a way to make your car faster.
However, in standard online lobby races, you will be able to tune your car. That means any upgrade goes!
Make sure to upgrade you vehicle before entering races. After that, your tune, or setup, will be adapted to each circuit. At a circuit with incredibly long straights? Make sure to stretch those gear ratios out.
You can change your car's setup in the menu before a race starts, by scrolling right and clicking on car options.
Gran Turismo 7
The arrival of Gran Turismo 7 is still on the horizon, although it was recently announced that the release of the game will be delayed until 2022.
So for now, let’s enjoy the announcement trailer from last year!
