Gran Turismo 7 has been out for a few weeks now. In that time, the creative community has uploaded some striking custom liveries and decals you can download. If. however you want to create your own design, it’s easy to upload decals to GT7 and share them with the community. To help you get started, here’s how to upload decals to Gran Turismo 7.
How to upload decals to Gran Turismo 7
Once you’ve created your decal in an image editor, you can upload it to GT7 in a few easy steps. However, you’ll need to save it in an SVG file format for it to work in GT7. The file size also can’t be larger than 15kb.
After the SVG file is saved, sign in to the My Profile section of the official Gran Turismo website at gran-turismo.com with the PlayStation Network account you use when playing GT7.
On the profile screen, click on the “Decal Uploader” tab at the top right of the screen. This will then display a file upload area. To start uploading your decal to GT7, simply drag and drop your SVG file onto the file uploader area of the page. After it uploads, a thumbnail of the SVG will be displayed.
Sharing your decal
Uploaded decals can be found in GT7 by going to the Showcase on the World Map. Then go to My Library > My Items. When using the Livery Editor to design your dream livery, any decals you uploaded will appear in My Library.
After selecting a decal, click Share if you want to share your creation with the community. Any shared decals will appear in your Shared Items List in Showcase.
If you want to download a decal created by someone else, head to the Livery Editor and press the Decals at the bottom of the screen. Select which area of the car you want to edit and press Add Layer. From here, go to Content Search at the top and type in your search query.
