When it comes to high-end sim racing hardware, Fanatec leads the way with premium-quality peripherals like the fantastic GT DD Pro. Now, Fanatec has revealed a successor to the popular CSL Elite Pedal set. Featuring magnetic sensors, a metal design, and a reworked brake pedal, the Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2 are available to order now directly from Fanatec’s website.

New load cell brake system

Unlike the last pedal set, the CSL Elite Pedals V2 come with three pedals out of the box: an accelerator, brake, clutch, and an all-new load cell. The load cell sensor measures pressure rather than position, offering a realistic level of resistance and a pressure force of up to 90kg. Load cell sensitivity and braking force can also be electronically adjusted in the Tuning Menu.

Hall-sensors

The throttle and brake pedals incorporate magnetic Hall-effect sensors to measure the pedal position. Using a contactless system means there is no wear on the sensors.

Additional bracing has also been added to the back of the peripheral, enhancing stability and stiffness according to Fanatec. Detachable rubber covers can also be fitted to the pedals depending if you want high or low friction.

Fully adjustable

If you don’t need a clutch, the CSL Elite V2 can be configured as a two-pedal set. Pedal position can be adjusted sideways along the heel rest, and it is easily configurable as a two-pedal set.

As you would expect from Fanatec, this is a high-quality peripheral. The pedal arms, faces, and heel rest are made from cast and machined aluminium with a power-coated finish.
