Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base available to pre-order

If you’re looking to buy a new wheel for Gran Turismo 7, the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro is one of the most affordable direct-drive wheels on the market. Fanatec’s official wheel for Gran Turismo 7 features smooth force feedback, CSL pedals a wheel rim designed by Polyphony Digital. But if you want to use a different wheel rim and pedal set, you can now buy the Fanatec DD Pro's base separately.

Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro now available as a separate base

Fanatec has announced the Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base is now available to order as a standalone base. This means you can replace your existing wheel base with the Gran Turismo DD Pro direct drive base if you already own a Fanatec wheel rim or pedal set.

Also included is the Boost Kit 180, which increases the peak torque from 5Nm to 8Nm for stronger feedback.

Fanatec’s Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base is fully compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It’s also compatible with the entire Fanatec ecosystem, meaning you can fit Xbox-compatible rims such as the CSL Elite Mclaren GT3 and CSL Elite WRC.

You can preorder the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base, with deliveries starting on 25 March. It costs €599.95/$599.95, so it has a steeper price than the CSL DD (€479.95/$479.95).
