Landing just over a year ago, Mario Kart Tour now has a real-time multiplayer mode for players to enjoy. And what better way to enjoy the game than with others?
This allows you to race against in-game friends, those who are nearby in location, or other racers from around the world.
The mode features both Standard Races and Gold Races. Gold Races are only accessible by those with the Gold Pass.
How to add friends
So, you’ve got a bunch of friends wanting to play Mario Kart Tour together, but how do you add them?
Firstly, you’ll have to ask your friends for their friend code, or send them yours. Next, simply navigate over to the Add Friends tab on the game, copy in the code, and send off your request!
With your friends list now filling, you should be able to invite friends to race, as well as compare your Ranked Scores.
New Tour
The new tour landed today, and lasts until April 20th for all players of the game. This means there are two weeks for you to get playing and earn some big rewards.
This Tour, there are 255 total Grand Stars to collect in order to earn all the prizes, you’ll need to make sure you get racing.
This time, the Gold Pass offers some exciting incentives also, including 1,100 coins, 30 rubies, and 15 total item tickets over the free rewards.
