We already knew the DLC is adding a brand new original course called Squeaky Clean Sprint, and now Nintendo has revealed the seven remaining tracks along with returning characters.

Release date

As for the release date, Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass launches on 12 July.

To access it, you’ll need to buy the Booster Course Pass, which is included with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership or can be purchased separately on the Nintendo eShop for £22.49/$24.99.

With the final Wave launching by the end of this year, the Booster Course Pass will include a total of 88 courses on top of the base game, making it great value for money.

We’re hoping this will pave the way for Nintendo to reveal Mario Kart 9, which is rumoured to be in “active development,” next year.
