Destruction AllStars is set to land soon, as we usher in a new generation of gaming.
Along with unrivaled visuals thanks to the PS5's hardware, the game also boasts a ton of ways to play. You can even play solo, with AI, or online.
Let's jump in and take a closer look at some of these game modes now!
Mayhem
This is your typical team deathmatch style game mode, and features both team and solo variants.
In this mode, your objective is to get as high a score as you possibly can, by damaging and wrecking your opponents.
As is apparent, the team or individual with the highest score at the end of the match is the victor.
Carnado
This mode has the same premise, excpet there's slightly more at stake in the game itself.
When you wreck or damage someone, you'll earn Gears which are stored in your vehicle. To score points with these gears, you'll need to sacrifice your ride...
That's right, send your car into the Carnado to score points. Once you've done that, find a new car or steal one and get wrecking again.
Stockpile
Stockpile requires you to collect gears once again, but you have to do something different this time.
Instead of sacrificing your car, head to one of three areas on the map to deposit your gears.
This claims the area for your team. The team with the most zones at the end of the game, wins.
Gridfall
This is effectively car BR, and sees 16 Allstars whittled down to just one.
In this mode, you'll have to have your wits about you as you strive to push and wreck the other 15 competitors.
You'll have some respawns to use, but when they're all done, you'll be one life away from out of the game!
Other Modes
To help you get to grips with the game there will also be a training mode for you to play.
This is coupled with a Challenge Series which could see you earning some sweet Character and Player cosmetics competing against AI.
Finally, post-launch there will be heaps of new content for players to get their hands on.
Release date
Originally planned for November, like many games Destruction Allstars suffered a delay.
That put the game with a release date of February 2021. Thankfully that means we don't have too long to wait now.
The game will also be on PS Plus, so members can play for free!
