Can You Redeem Codes in Disney Speedstorm?

Disney Speedstorm is out now. After spending several months in early access, the Disney-themed kart racer is now free-to-play for everyone. From Donald Duck to Monsters Inc’s Sully, there are many iconic characters to unlock, but does Disney Speedstorm have codes to unlock them faster?

With its wacky powerups, iconic characters, and recognisable locations from your favourite Disney and Pixar films, Gameloft’s new kart racer is effectively Disney’s answer to Mario Kart. If you’re wondering if Disney Speedstorm has codes, we have the answer for you.

Does Disney Speedstorm have codes?

Disney Speedstorm adopts a live service model like free-to-play mobile games. Originally, you had to pay for the Founders Pack to gain early access, but Disney Speedstorm is now free-to-play for everyone on all platforms.

Instead of progressing through a single-player campaign, you have to level up to unlock characters by earning Shards.

These can be earned in limited-time events, freeplay time trials, or loot boxes. Typically for a free-to-play game, you can also buy Shards with real-world currency.

Codes in free-to-play games are an easy way to earn rewards. Unfortunately, Disney Speedstorm does not have codes. Reward codes are common in free-to-play mobile games like Asphalt 9: Legends, but Disney Speedstorm is not available on mobile platforms.

Unlike Mario Kart, you can play Disney’s new cutesy kart racer on a variety of platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

How to redeem Disney Speedstorm codes

To redeem a code, all you have to do is click the on the top right of the screen (press options on the PlayStation controller and Menu on the Xbox controller). From here, click 'Redeem Code.' Enter your code and hit 'Search.' A message will pop up confirming if your code was successfully redeemed.
