Formula E has been providing electrifying racing since 2014. Nine seasons have passed since then, with the last three seasons officially sanctioned FIA World Championships. Nyck de Vries, Stoffel Vandoorne, and Jake Dennis are the first three Formula E World Champions, with de Vries using his Formula E victory as a springboard into an F1 seat with AlphaTauri this year.

Unlike most racing games, Formula E: High Voltage doesn’t put you in the racing suit yourself. Instead, players manage each race by choosing their cars and drivers, along with special abilities to manage certain weather conditions or times of day.

What makes Formula E: High Voltage unique is how new cars and drivers are acquired. Each car and driver in the game is an NFT, with each having their own skill from over 100 available. It’s down to players to obtain their cars and drivers, before managing and upgrading these before, during, and after races.

NFTs range in rarity, going from common, through rare and epic, right the way up to legendary. These NFTs will feature a mix of both real and fictional drivers and cars, including the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Champion, Jake Dennis and his Andretti Porsche 99X Electric GEN3.
