Free games are becoming more popular, but will Disney Speedstorm be one of them? That's the question on a lot of gamers' lips right now, but what's the answer?

Disney Speedstorm Free?
Disney Speedstorm was announced at the start of this 2022 year and got us all hyped for its release. Speedstorm was released for early access only back in April, but those wanting to play for free have had to wait ever since.
Depending upon which of the Founders' Packs you purchased, gamers have had to pay between £24.99 and £57.99 to play Speedstorm early.

+ 2However, it's now been confirmed by Gameloft that Disney Speedstorm will be available as a free-to-play game from 28th September this year.
So, it doesn't matter whether you're on PC, Xbox, PlayStation or Switch, you'll be able to pick it up in September for absolutely nothing.
Early access pre-order
The Speedstorm free-to-play release date is still a few months away, so if you can't wait that long, you're in luck. Buying either Standard, Deluxe or Ultimate Founders' Packs will give you access to Speedstorm from today!
click to enlarge+ 2It's also not clear whether Seasonal content such as the recent Toy Story Season 2 update will be available to those who go for the free version of Speedstorm.
So, you may have to purchase one of the Founders' Packs to be able to experience this and future content. However, Gameloft may surprise us, so it could be worth the wait!
