RIDE 5 was announced not long ago and Milestone has shown off their latest single-player improvements to the world. The Walkthrough Trailer and Career Mode rundown previews this racing simulator ahead of its release date.
MotoGP 23's revamped career mode transformed the game, and now it looks like RIDE 5 is following its lead.

RIDE 5 Career Mode
RIDE 5's Walkthrough trailer is unsurprisingly split up into five parts. The first of these focuses on the bikes that you'll be able to collect in the game.
Unlike Milestone's other motorbike games such as MotoGP 23 and TT Isle of Man, RIDE isn't based on a real-life racing series. So, the aim of the game is to unlock all of the bikes in the game.
And just like RIDE 4, there is a lot to choose from. This also marks the first RIDE game to be exclusively on next-gen consoles. So, there will be far more processing power for the game to make use of.
When it comes to the physics, graphics and simulation as a whole, this will be the most realistic RIDE game yet. You'll also have more options than ever before when it comes to customising your bikes, rider and setting the suspension up.
Engaging realism & game modes
The weather conditions also add a level of realism to the game that we've never seen before. Not only will the rain change the circuits, but the temperature and lighting conditions as well.
Engaging realism is all about neural AI and how they've evolved since RIDE 4. The difficulty settings are more comprehensive than ever before too, as you can now even slow down the gameplay to give you more time to react to situations.
There are also a lot of new game modes to enjoy, including new qualifying and endurance modes that add a new layer of challenge to races. Endurance races can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 24 hours long.
A new rival system adds more interest to the game's Career Mode too. These Rivals are far from an afterthought, as they all have unique appearances, bikes, riding styles and dedicated cutscenes with voice actors.
You'll even be able to create your own races and championships using the in-game Race Creator mode.
RIDE 5 Single Player
Something that wasn't mentioned in the trailer, but was mentioned in the deep dive article is that there are multiple paths to choose from in RIDE 5's Career Mode.
The first path is The Tour, which is divided into four acts with events ranging from championships to single races and time attacks. The second and optional one is called the Limitless Challenges.
This is split up into four acts, each of which is unlocked by clearing the corresponding main act, which features a higher difficulty level.
The Career Mode experience is a long one, ranging anywhere from 20 to 50 hours depending on what level you want to complete the game to. That's one of the advantages of games that aren't annual releases like RIDE has.
