SnowRunner Switch Release Date: Price, Preorder & more!

We’ve become quite fond of simulation titles here at Racing Games, from Euro Truck Simulator to Farming Simulator.

One such title which has attracted our eye now is SnowRunner, an off-road simulation game released this time last year, in 2020.

So, with a Switch version round the corner, let's take a look at when we can play it!

Switch release date

The Nintendo Switch version of the game is scheduled in for a launch date of May 18 this year. That's right, the game is just three weeks away from being available on the Nintendo console.

The title is already available for pre-order from most retailers, and is also available form the Nintendo eShop on the console of course.

So, with the title already available for pre-order, will you be getting your hands on the game on Switch?

Price

The game is launching at the pretty standard price of $39.99/£34.99 for the standard edition of the game, which sounds like a fair price to us.

For those who are confident they will enjoy the game and are after the DLC, there is another version also. This is the Premium Edition and launches at $59.99 or £49.99.

This version of the game will come with the Year 1 Pass, which includes all DLC for the first year. This provides a discount for those players who will stick with the game.

Phase 4

It is an exciting time to get into the game, as a new update, Phase 4, is on the way which is adding a massive variety of new content to the game.

This includes new vehicles for you to tackle your environment, as well as new environments within which you will be placed also.

With four new maps on the way to explore and some awesome new challenges for players, now is good a time as any to start playing.
