Thailand is between 4-6 hours ahead of Europe, so the session times might be tough for those in Europe and the Americas. Viewers in Asia and Australasia should have it easier than normal though!

Here's everything you need to know about the 2023 Thai MotoGP sessions.

Thailand finally got a place on the MotoGP calendar in 2018 with the completion of the Buriram International Circuit. After a break of two years thanks to the pandemic, the Thai GP returned last year.

The motorbike is the most popular mode of transport in Southeast Asia and Thailand is no exception. There are no Thai riders on the current grid, but Somkiat Chantra could change that next year if he continues to impress in Moto2.

Buriram is a modern, purpose-built circuit that has harsh corners which really test the MotoGP bikes. The tropical heat also saps the riders' energy through the race making it a huge physical challenge.

Marc Marquez is the only multiple winner at this circuit, winning the Grand Prix in 2018 and 19. Miguel Oliveira won the race last year, but Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin are the favourites heading into this one.

Can Johann Zarco build on his first-ever MotoGP win last time out in Australia, though? Well, you'll be able to find out this weekend, here's where can you watch and stream the Thai MotoGP 2023?

UK

We'll begin with the UK, where all sessions will be shown live on TNT Sport. TNT Sport is the only channel to see all sessions of the 2023 season live in the UK.

The UK is six hours behind Thailand and with the session times being around where they should be at local time, these will be tough to catch in the UK.

Bear in mind that the clocks go back an hour on Sunday morning, so the UK will be seven hours behind Thailand for the Sunday race. Here's the full list of session times:

  • Practice 1: 4:45 - 5:30, Saturday 27 October
  • Practice 2: 9:00 - 10:00, 27 October
  • Free Practice & Qualifying: 4:10 - 5:30, Saturday 28 October
  • Sprint: 9:00, 28 October
  • Race: 8:00, Sunday 29 October

USA

MotoGP coverage in the United States is on NBC. Unfortunately, only the Americas GP is shown live on NBC in the USA in 2023, so you'll need to catch the Thai GP at a later time if you're based in the states

However, with the race starting at 4 am on the east coast, this isn't such a bad thing. On the west coast, it'd be even worse, as it's a 1 am start time.

Other sessions including the sprint race and qualifying won't be shown on TV in the USA. The Thai GP will be shown on CNBC at 3 pm Eastern time on Sunday 29 October.
