MotoGP 23 Catalan Grand Prix

MotoGP 23 Catalan Grand Prix

If you're looking to find out where to watch and stream the Catalan MotoGP 2023 round, you've come to the right place!

MotoGP is back after a two-week break for a double-header of the Catalan and San Marino Motorcycle Grands Prix. Our first stop is at the Grand Prix of Catalonia in Barcelona.

Just like we did for the previous rounds in Argentina, the USA, Spain, France, Italy, Britain and Austria, we're showing you where to watch and stream the 2023 Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Barcelona sits on the Central European Time Zone, so the session times are what you'd expect for a European round. This could make it tricky for viewers in North America and Australia though, so here's everything you need to know about the 2023 Catalan MotoGP sessions.

Motorcycle racing in Spain is like a second religion for the country. That's reflected in their representation on the 2023 MotoGP calendar, as Spain has three rounds out of the 20 that are scheduled to go ahead.

The Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix dates back to 1996 and has been hosted at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya ever since. The track has had some minor changes to it in that time, but it's remained largely the same throughout.

When it comes to the most successful riders at the Catalan MotoGP, the legends you'd expect to appear are present. The Great Valentino Rossi won 10 times around here in his career, with seven of those in MotoGP.

Jorge Lorenzo has five home wins to his name in Barcelona. Other Home Heroes include Dani Pedrosa who won once, with both Alex and Marc Marquez earning a pair of victories each.

On the current grid, Fabio Quartaro has won twice in the last three years, Miguel Oliveira won in 2022 and Andrea Dovizioso is the only other previous winner that will be competing this weekend.

But where can you watch and stream the Catalan MotoGP 2023? Let's find out!

USA

MotoGP coverage in the United States is on NBC. Unfortunately, only the Americas GP is shown live on NBC in the USA in 2023, so you'll need to catch the Catalan GP at a later time if you're based in the states

However, with the race starting at 8 am on the east coast and 5 am on the west coast, this isn't such a bad thing. Other sessions including the sprint race and qualifying won't be shown on TV in the USA.

The Catalan GP will be shown on CNBC at 1:30 pm Eastern time on Sunday 3 September.

Australian MotoGP fans will need to be up very late to catch the Catalan Grand Prix live. While it's not as bad as some rounds, a 10 pm start time for the race on the east coast isn't an easy watch.

An 8 pm start time for the race on the west coast though, isn't so bad. The FOX network will continue to cover the 2023 MotoGP live in Australia.

All times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC +10).
