Where to watch & stream IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama 2023: Channels, countries, start time, sessions & more

This article will take you through where you can watch & stream the IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama 2023!

The Indycar season is well underway for 2023 now, with the most recent rounds taking place at the Texas Motor Speedway and the Long Beach Grand Prix Street Circuit.

Next up we head to a true road course in the form of the Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, Alabama. The IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama has been a very popular addition to the calendar since it joined in 2010.

This is a high-speed circuit with little to no run-off, so mistakes are always punished. Tyre strategy is key, as the heat in the Deep South chews up the cars' Firestone rubber.

As the race takes place during the day on the East Coast, the session times aren't too bad for Europeans to tune in. Here's all the info you need to watch and stream the IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama 2023.

The Grand Prix of Alabama has been on the IndyCar calendar every year since 2010. The Barber Motorsports Park was opened in the early 2000s and the aim was always to bring IndyCar to the circuit.

There's never a dull race here, as the cars look spectacular flying around in all directions thanks to the layout twisting out and back in on itself multiple times throughout a lap.

This weekend will also see the IndyCar NXT series return for the second round of their season, also taking place at Barber Motorsports Park.

When it comes to the most successful drivers in Alabama, there are a few familiar names that have won the most races. Josef Newgarden has the most wins here with three, but the American hasn't won at this venue since 2018.

Ryan Hunter-Raey and Will Power are the only other drivers who have won multiple Grands Prix of Alabama.

On the current grid, Alex Palou, Pato O-Ward, Takuma Sato, Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves have all claimed the winner's trophy here. So, with four different winners in the previous four years, this is a very unpredictable race.
