New cars leak in Forza Horizon 5: BMW M8, Audi RS3 Saloon & more

Forza Horizon has hands-down one of the most diverse car lists in any racing game. With over 500 cars from the latest high-performance supercars to classic sports cars and off-roaders, there’s something to please every petrolhead. Thanks to regular updates and car packs, Forza Horizon 5’s car roster continues to expand.

In celebration of Lunar New Year, this week’s Series 4 update features cars from Chinese manufacturers for the first time in a Forza game. On GTPlanet, a forum member has possibly uncovered more cars hidden in the texture files that could be coming to FH5 soon.

New cars leak in Forza Horizon 5

While digging through the texture files, GTPlanet user TheAdmiester discovered files hinting at new cars coming to Forza Horizon 5 in the future:

  • 2020 Audi RS3 Saloon
  • 2018 Audi RS4 Avant
  • 2018 Audi RS5
  • 2020 BMW M8
  • 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
  • 2021 Mini John Cooper Works GP
  • 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
  • 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
  • 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

The user also found the 2020 Lynk & Co 03 TCR touring car and the Mosler MT900 GT3 racer. However, TheAdmiester notes that these racing cars likely won’t appear in FH5. Instead, they could be reserved for the upcoming Forza Motorsport reboot.

Apart from the 2020 Audi RS3 Saloon, each car now has wheel textures according to the forum member. This suggests they will be released in FH5 sooner, rather than later, though no screenshots are available to corroborate this.

While Playground Games hasn’t officially announced these cars yet, the GTPlanet user has a reputation for leaking cars in FH5 early. These leaks have proven to be accurate in the past, too.

Last year, for example, the same user leaked a list of upcoming FH5 cars including the Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari J50, and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. Since the leak, nearly every car on the list has joined FH5.

The beautiful BMW M8 could be coming to Forza Horizon 5 soon

While the beautiful BMW M8 was recently added to The Crew 2, this will be the first time the M8 road car has appeared in a Forza game. The M8 GTE race car also features in Forza Motorsport 7.

Likewise, the Audi RS3 Sedan, current-generation Audi RS4 Avant and RS5, Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, and the new Mini JCW GP will make their Forza debuts.

The off-road focused Toyota TRD Pro pickup trucks, on the other hand, will make their racing game debuts in FH5 if the leak is accurate.
