Polyphony offer Asian gamers a chance to win a signed copy of GT7

We’re now just over 40 days until the release of Gran Turismo 7, one of 2022’s most anticipated new racing games. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of Gran Turismo.

To celebrate, Series Creator Kazunori Yamauchi is encouraging players to share their Gran Turismo story for a chance to win a special price.

Dubbed MyGTStory, the competition invites players to share their favourite Gran Turismo stories on social media. Ten lucky winners will receive a Gran Turismo 7 Deluxe Gift Set with GT7 merchandise including a keyring, coaster set, and stickers.

However, the main prize is a GT7 25th Anniversary Edition copy signed by Kazunori Yamauchi.

Whether it’s buying your first used car or saving up credits to buy the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak, we all have our favourite memories in Gran Turismo.

How to enter the Gran Turismo 7 MyGTStory competition

There is a slight catch, though: the MyGTStory is only open to players in Asia. Ten winners will be chosen from Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

To enter, all you need to do is share a photo or video on social media showing what GT means to you. Posts require a caption with up to 100 words. To be eligible, you also need to use the hashtags #MyGTStory and #GT7 and tag @PlayStationAsia on Facebook or Instagram.

“I am thankful that the Gran Turismo series has been loved and supported by generations of PlayStation gamers for 25 years,” Yamauchi said in a video announcing the competition. Yamauchi went on to say he thinks GT7 is “the best game of the Gran Turismo series.” We'll find out if this is true soon when GT7 releases on 4 March.

Let’s hope Polyphony is feeling generous and launches a similar competition for GT fans in the UK and Europe.
