rFactor 2 Q4 2022 Bonus Drop brings two new cars

In a surprise update close to Christmas, a new rFactor 2 content drop has arrived, bringing two new cars to the PC racing simulation.

New cars

For players who own the 2021 BTCC cars, the free update adds every team, driver and livery of the 2022 British Touring Car Championship season for every BTCC Car in rFactor 2. 2022 season liveries will also be included in upcoming BTCC content.

As well as all the drivers of the current BTCC season, rFactor 2 Q4 2022 Bonus Drop adds a revised tyre model and full Balance of Performance across the grid.

That’s not the only BTCC content included, however. Before it retires from the real-world championship, the front-wheel drive BTCC Vauxhall Astra is now available in rFactor 2.

Joining the BTCC Vauxhall Astra in the Q4 2022 Bonus Drop is the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992, developed in conjunction with World’s Fastest Gamer winner Rudy van Buren.

Competing in the one-make Porsche Supercup series, the 992 variant of the 911 GT3 Cup has a naturally-aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine delivering 510 hp at 8,400 rpm.
