It’s always a special event when Lamborghini reveals a new flagship supercar. Last month, Lamborghini lifted the wraps off the Revuelto as a replacement for the Aventador.

With an expected price tag of around £450,000, few people can afford Lamborghini’s new V12-powered hybrid supercar. And even if you can afford it, the Revuelto is already sold out for the first two years of production.

There is, however, an alternative. You can take it for a virtual test drive in Asphalt 9: Legends – but only for a limited time.

Lamborghini Revuelto makes racing game debut

The Lamborghini Revuelto has made its racing game debut not in Forza Horizon 5 but Asphalt 9: Legends, one of the best racing games on mobile.

Powering the Revuelto is a 6.5 litre V12 and three electric motors delivering a combined output of 1,001 horsepower. This combined with extensive use of carbon fibre and lightweight materials results in the best weight-to-power ratio for a Lamborghini supercar to date at 1.75 kg per horsepower.

As a result, acceleration from 0-62 mph takes 2.5 seconds before the electrified supercar tops out at over 217 mph.

How to unlock the Lamborghini Revuelto in Asphalt 9 Legends

To unlock the Lamborghini Revuelto in Asphalt 9: Legends, all you need to do is complete the first stage of the Lamborghini Revuelto special event.

Once you’ve completed the event, you can add the Lamborghini Revuelto to your garage, and unlock skins, in-game rewards, and “surprise real-world prizes from Lamborghini.”

You’ll need to be quick though because you can only claim the Lamborghini Revuelto for a limited time – the event ends on 26 April.

For now, Asphalt 9: Legends is the only racing game that lets you drive Lamborghini’s new flagship supercar, but it's probably only a matter of time before the Revuelto comes to Forza Horizon 5 and Gran Turismo 7.
