Based in Madison, Illinois, and formerly known as the Gateway Motorsports Park, the 1.25-mile oval circuit hosts the NASCAR Cup Series, as well as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NTT IndyCar Series.

There is also a 1.6-mile road course within the infield of the oval layout that hosts the Formula Drift Series along with a quarter-mile drag strip used for the annual NHRA Midwest Nationals event.

As part of the Q3 2022 Content Drop, the oval and road course configurations will be added to rFactor 2 next week.Ā

Q3 2022 Content Drop release date

rFactor 2 players can race at the World Wide Technology Raceway when the Q3 2022 Content Drop is released on 8 August.

The update will introduce Real Road 2.0, an evolution of rFactor 2ā€™s dynamic track conditions. Based on factors such as weather conditions, cloud cover, and cars warming up the track surfaces, track temperatures change in real-time in Real Road 2.0.

rFactor 2's July 2022 Release Candidate also improved the ABS and traction control simulation. These changes should carry over to the Q3 2022 Content Drop.
