It's possible that the Nintendo Switch is the most underrated video game console out there. The console certainly isn't lacking for new games, as WRC Generations will be released on it.

The official video game of the 2022 World Rally Championship season is all set to launch later this year, but what can we expect from the Switch?

WRC Generations on Switch

WRC 10 was released on the Switch, and that's not changing for Generations. The current-gen Nintendo system will hopefully be getting the WRC treatment again later this year.

The Switch version of Generations will be able to run in 1080p HD and 60 fps if you connect the system to your TV.

If you're on the go, the Switch's screen will output the game in 720p, but with a higher pixel density on the OLED model.

WRC Generations is only able to be played by a mobile device on Switch, as this system is a hybrid of both a home and portable console.

WRC Generations Switch Release Date

As WRC Generations is now officially confirmed and we have a release date. Generations bucks the trend in terms of the release date though, as it will release slightly later in the year on 13th October.

This will place Generations just before the penultimate round of the 2022 season in Spain.

However, this is the release date for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game. The Switch and PC versions will be released "later", the develops have confirmed.

When will this be? It's hard to say, but it could be a while, as WRC 10 was only released on Switch in March of this year. We'll be sure to let you know when this confirmed, though.
