SCS Software has unveiled the Ram & Dodge Car Pack, the second vehicle collection planned for the still-in-development Road Trip module of American Truck Simulator.
Road Trip is not live yet; it will arrive the moment the first compatible downloadable content ships. Until then, the announcement serves as a preview of how the trucking simulator will expand beyond eighteen-wheelers without losing its focus on open roads and realistic driving physics.
Four Confirmed Cars, Details to Come

At launch, the pack will include four licensed vehicles:
- 2025 Ram 1500 – a modern pickup designed for work and leisure
- 1970 Dodge Charger – classic muscle that helped define the genre
- 1996 Dodge Viper – a V10 sports car known for raw power
- 2023 Dodge Challenger – contemporary performance inspired by heritage
SCS Software says final engine configurations, paint schemes, and interior trims are still being approved with Ram and Dodge. As with the studio’s semi-trucks, each model is being recreated using factory data, sound recordings, and high-resolution references supplied by the manufacturers.
How Road Trip Will Change Day-to-Day Driving

When Road Trip eventually arrives - whether through this pack, the earlier Ford Car Pack, or future car packs - it will sit alongside the existing freight economy rather than replace it. Owning any Road Trip vehicle pack is expected to unlock:
- Light courier jobs that move documents, tools, or parcels between nearby cities,
- Free exploration of roads that restrict heavy trucks, including many national parks, and
- Postcard collectibles that reward you for visiting famous landmarks.
These activities give passenger cars a clear purpose while keeping your trucks, garages, and cargo contracts intact.
Wishlist Now, Watch for Updates

The pack doesn’t have a launch date yet, but the Steam page is up. Hit “Add to Wishlist” and Steam will ping you the moment SCS picks a release day. Remember, the images out there are still early builds - expect fresh screenshots, videos, and sound clips to roll out on the studio’s blog and social feeds in the coming weeks.
With Ford confirmed and Ram and Dodge now in the queue, Road Trip is shaping up to turn American Truck Simulator into a broader celebration of United States motoring culture. For players, the message is simple: keep saving in-game cash, because that first joyride in a Charger or Viper is getting closer every day.
