Ever since it was announced that Aston Martin would be taking over the Racing Point team, Formula 1 fans and gamers have wondered what the car would look like.
While we still have to wait until Wednesday to get a full look at the Aston Martin F1 livery, the Silverstone-based team has launched their official F1 store today.
This gives us a clue about what the car could likes like in Codemasters' F1 2021!
Racing green returns
It's not exactly a surprise that the BWT pink has given way for British Racing Green. Or at least, nearly British Racing Green.
While BWT has been retained as a sponsor, their trademark colour is not present on the official merchandise for the Aston Martin F1 team.
Instead the traditional green is accented by a lime-green known as "Volt" in design circles, which creates a very striking look.
Aston Martin has also kept designs very clean, offering fans a look that doesn't jar.
F1 2021 car
This gear gives us a good idea of what the car will look like in Codemasters' F1 2021, and especially what drivers Sebastian Vettel, Lance Stroll, and their pit crews will look like within the game.
We can expect racesuits to match the colouring of the polos and shirts on offer, albeit with some more visible sponsors.
The car is also likely to retain these primary and secondary colours. A splash of pink for BWT could certainly make its way onto the car, but we'll have to wait and see.
F1 2021 release date
Fans are going to have to wait before they can go racing around in an Aston Martin F1 car. While the new season gets underway at the end of March, we don't expect F1 2021 for a while.
Codemasters has targeted a late June/early July release date for the game in recent years. There is nothing to make us think they will get F1 2021 out earlier this time around.
