The Singapore Grand Prix was good for so many reasons. We saw a thrilling race, exciting overtakes, and a non-Red Bull winner for the first time this year. To celebrate Carlos Sainz’s win, F1 23 is giving away free content to players.
F1 23 gifts free helmet to players
After a sensational performance in Singapore, Carlos Sainz became the first non-Red Bull winner of 2023. To celebrate not only Sainz’s win but also Ferrari’s first victory of the year, EA and Codemasters are gifting F1 23 players Sainz’s helmet worn at the 2023 Italian Grand Prix.
This helmet was worn as part of the Ferrari Racing Tribute liveries worn by the team during their home Grand Prix. This livery was run to celebrate Ferrari’s first LeMans victory since 1965.
It’s been a celebratory time for Ferrari recently, and with the Japanese Grand Prix coming up, we could see more Tifosi celebrations.
F1 23 Suzuka Scenario Event
It’s not just Sainz’s helmet that’s new to F1 23 this week. A new Scenario Event set at Suzuka has also been added.
This Scenario puts players in the racing boots of Lando Norris. Straight off the back of a mighty second place in Singapore, Lando finds himself in the lead around Suzuka. Running on limited rubber, and with Esteban Ocon breathing down his neck, can you take Lando to his elusive first win in Formula 1?
This isn’t the first time Lando has faced a pit stop dilemma. His failure to pit for wet tyres cost him the win at Sochi back in 2021, and he questioned McLaren’s pit decisions during this year’s Dutch Grand Prix. The young Englishman has shown huge progression in recent years, and that first win can’t be far away.
Norris’ Suzuka Scenario Event is available to play from 18 to 25 September and can be found in F1 World. To find the event, follow these steps:

F1 23 Update 1.12 reverts Ferrari’s livery
F1 23’s Update 1.12 has arrived, and the biggest visible change is Ferrari’s cars reverting back to their usual 2023 livery. The Ferrari Racing Tribute livery might not have been the best looking Ferrari livery, but it’ll be sad to see the LeMans commemorative livery consigned to the past.
Along with the change to Ferrari, Update 1.12 also sees significant fixes to safety car deployment, weather during races, F2 races running in the incorrect order during Career Mode, and F1 World Goals not unlocking or displaying properly.
Despite addressing those issues, Update 1.12 has reportedly created new issues with equal performance in multiplayer races, as well as resetting player controller profiles.
