If you need to know how to play split screen in F1 24, this is the place you need to be.

We're enjoying F1 24, particularly now that the handling has been updated. One thing that hasn't changed, though, is that you can enjoy split-screen offline multiplayer with a friend.

Most multiplayer races in F1 24 take place online, but you can still enjoy racing against someone in the same room as you in local split-screen.

F1 24 Split Screen

Playing split-screen multiplayer in F1 24 is straightforward. From the main menu, scroll down and select Local Multiplayer.

From there, go to Splitscreen and then add a player when the menu pops up. Once both of you are in the offline lobby, you can then choose the car, track and race settings you for your event.

All of F1 24's tracks and cars are available in two-player split screen. This includes the option to create a custom calendar to effectively play an offline two-player co-op mode.

Split screen is available on all systems, whether you're playing F1 24 on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Windows PC.

As fun as online modes like F1 World are, racing in split-screen multiplayer is one of the most exciting ways to experience F1 24.

The major downside is that you need a second controller pad to host split screen and those can be expensive for some systems. If you have the equipment, why not give split-screen multiplayer a try?
