New year, new grid
F1 Manager 2024 is the third entry in the F1 Manager series, but the franchise is only just starting to find the sweet spot.
This is partly due to the new features in F1 Manager 2024, with the best being the most requested feature from players: custom teams.
Create a Team allows players to build their very own Formula 1 team from the ground up. Designing the car, hiring drivers and staff, and even signing sponsors are all part of the daily activities you’ll face in the hot seat.
Also new to F1 Manager 2024 is the ability for AI teams to poach your best talent. Whether it’s a driver or your aerodynamicist, you need to keep everyone in the team happy or face losing them to a grid rival.
With all these new features coming to the game, fans are wondering if F1 Manager 2024 will feature crossplay.
Is F1 Manager 2024 crossplay?
Because the F1 Manager series is a single-player-only franchise, F1 Manager 2024 will not feature crossplay multiplayer. This makes sense because there’s no need for crossplay without multiplayer.
For F1 fans who want to experience racing with other players on other platforms, there’s always Codemasters’ F1 series. F1 24 will be racing onto PC and consoles in May.
However, some players may also be wondering if cross-save will be in F1 Manager 2024. This would allow PC players to load up their save on console or vice versa.
At the time of writing, Frontier hasn't confirmed if F1 Manager 2024 will have cross-save support. Cross-save did not feature in either F1 Manager 2022 or F1 Manager 2023, however, so we’re not expecting this to change in this year's game.
Release Date and Trailer
Frontier has confirmed the release date for F1 Manager 2024. It will be released worldwide on July 23 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
