Forza Motorsport raced onto Xbox and PC this week, but that doesn’t mean Forza Horizon 5’s seasonal updates are slowing down. Today sees the start of the new Dia de Muertos series, with the summer playlist bringing the most requested car in Forza’s history among other rewards.
Here’s what players can expect in the Forza Horizon 5 Dia de Muertos Summer Festival Playlist.
Forza Horizon 5 Dia de Muertos Summer
The Forza Horizon 5 Dia de Muertos Summer playlist begins on Thursday 12 October at 3:30 pm BST / 10:30 am ET.
You then have one week to collect as many rewards as possible until 19 October at 3:30pm BST / 10:30 am ET.
Celebrating Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival, the spooky Die de Muertos series brings five new cars to Forza Horizon 5 as well as new achievements, decorations, and EventLab props. You can find out what else is new in the full patch notes here.
The Dia de Muertos Series Progress cars are the Ferrari 250 GT (80 points) and 2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo (160 points).
Following a short delay, the Super Speed Car Pack DLC also launches today, bringing four new track-focused cars to Forza Horizon 5: the 2022 Volkswagen Golf R, 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2, and 2019 Elemental RP1.

This week’s Season Progress cars are the 2010 Nissan Tsuru (20 points) and 2023 Nissan Z. One of the most popular cars in Mexico, the Tsuru is the “most requested car in Forza’s history” according to Playground Games.
Alongside the Season Progress cars, you can win the Hoonigan Nova by completing The Trial and the Ford Crown Victoria in the 3AM Rush EventLab challenge.
Other cars up for grabs are the 2015 Ford Falcon, unlocked in the Wild Nightlife Seasonal Championship, and Exocet Off-Road, rewarded for completing the Dune Buggies Seasonal Championship.
You can also win four Super Wheelspins in the seasonal challenges for a chance to add more exotic cars to your collection.
