Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive update adds 4 new cars, car park props & more

Ahead of tomorrow’s new Festival Playlist series, the Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive update has landed, bringing new legendary Japanese cars cars and a barrage of bug fixes. Let’s find out what’s new in the Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive update patch notes.

New cars

In keeping with the theme, the new star cars in the update are the 2023 Nissan Z and 1965 Toyota Sports 800, both of which are new to Forza. Also returning to Forza are the 1995 Toyota MR2 GT and 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR4.

You can also customise these cars with 23 newly added Japanese-branded car rims from 5Zigen, Advan, Enkei, Gram Lights.

Car Park EventLab Prop Pack

As well as new cars, the Japanese Automotive update adds an assortment of new features. The main new addition is the Car Park Event Lab Prop Pack, which adds 57 new props. Certain pieces also feature Snapping functionality allowing you to create multistorey car parks to practice your drifting skills.

Other new features include a new Lucky Cat Collectible in the Winter season, a Japanese Automotive Accolade, and a Catch Me If You Canyon Showcase Remix. The update also brings several bug fixes to improve the gameplay experience.
