Forza Horizon 5 Series 7 isnāt over yet. But that hasnāt stopped Playground Games from revealing Series 8 a few weeks early.
During an extended Forza Monthly Show, Playground Games gave us a first look at Series 8, revealing that seven new German cars are coming to FH5 next month. Let's take a look at everything that was revealed.
Forza Horizon 5 Series 8: German Automotive Excellence
Forza Horizon 5 Series 8 kicks off in two weeks on 26 May with a German car theme celebrating Germany finishing third in the Horizon World Cup.
Naturally, with a new FH Season comes a salivating selection of reward cars to earn.
Reward cars
Unusually, the Series 8 reward cars were teased at the start of Series 7. You can view them in the Series 7 Festival Playlist right now.
During the show, Playground Games confirmed Series 8 will have three new reward cars: the all-new 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 2018 Audi RS4 Avant and 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S.
New to Forza, the track-focused Porsche 911 GT3 RS is certainly a highlight with its swan-neck spoiler and signature naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six.
The high-performance Audi RS4 Avant, which is also new to Forza, was requested by the community as FH5 was lacking modern Audi models, while the Mercedes-AMG GT S returns from FH3 and FH4.
All Trials will have stock cars in Series 8.
Summer
Summer's Season Progress cars include the legendary Porsche 959 at 20 points and 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 RS4 at 40 points.
You can also earn the Mercedes-AMG C63, 2010 Volkswagen Golf R, 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E, 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS3, and 2013 BMW M6.
Autumn
In Autumn, you can earn the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (20 points) and the vintage 1929 Mercedes-Benz SSK (40 points).
Other reward cars include the BMW i8, 2009 Audi RS6, BMW M3 GT-R, and Porsche Cayenne.
Winter
Returning to FH5 in Winter is the Mercedes-AMG GT S at 20 points. Joining the AMG GT S is the #185 Porsche 959 at 40 points.
If you're a Porsche fan, completing Winter's Season Challenges will also unlock the 2012 Porsche 911 GT2 RS, 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo, and 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo.
That's not all, because there are two more German reward cars in the Winter season: the Mercedes-AMG Hammer Coupe, and Opel Manta 400.
Spring
Spring's reward cars include the 2018 Audi RS4 Avant at 20 points and Mercedes-AMG One at 40 points.
In addition, you can also earn the Audi R8 V10 Plus, Porsche 718 GTS, Mercedes-AMG SLS, and Audi Quattro.
Car Pass
That's not all, as more German cars are coming to Series 8 thanks to Car Pass. First up is the 2020 BMW M8 Competition Coupe arriving on 26 May, followed by the 2020 Audi RS3 Saloon on 2 June.
After that, the 2020 Audi R5 Coupe will be available on 9 June. Continuing the German car theme, the fourth and final Series 8 Car Pass car is the 1982 Volkswagen Pickup LX on 16 June.
The Car Pass Garage will be complete on 7 July. From then, players can redeem the full 42-car collection at any Horizon Outpost or House by selecting the Car Pass option. More Car Pass cars will be revealed in the next Forza Monthly stream.
Series 9
Briefly teased at the end of the show, Series 9 starts on 23 June. Series 9 will feature the Horizon Academy and Horizon Nexus, as well as new events, challenges, and reward cars. Unfortunately, no Season 9 content was teased.
We were hoping to get a sneak peek at the first FH5 expansion, but Playground Games is likely saving the reveal until next month's show.
