We'll get our first proper look at Forza Horizon 6 in the January Xbox Developer Direct.

The open-world arcade racer was revealed in September last year during the Tokyo Game Show. However, only Japan as a setting was confirmed at the time, and most of the details, including gameplay, were kept under wraps.

Fortunately, that'll change in a matter of weeks, as the Forza Horizon 6 gameplay reveal is on the horizon. You can find all the details about the Forza Horizon 6 highly anticipated gameplay reveal below.

Very little has been revealed about Forza Horizon 6. The major takeaway is that it'll take place in Japan. As in the past, the open world will be a scaled-down version of the country featuring both natural and urban environments.

We can already see some of the natural environments, as the teaser featured cherry blossoms with the snow-covered Mount Fuji in the backdrop. In terms of vehicles, it'll follow in the "footsteps of Forza Horizon 5 in delivering a broad range of cars." Japan itself has a deep and influential car culture, providing plenty to draw from.

Expect all the staples from past games to be present. PlayStation 5 fans can also tune in, as Forza Horizon 6 is confirmed for the platform. Judging by Microsoft's current release pattern, most of the exclusives revealed during the showcase could be PS5 bound. Fable itself is heavily rumored to be ported over.

That's everything about the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 gameplay reveal. Hopefully, we'll also know the exact release date for the open-world racer, as it is currently slated for a 2026 release.

Of course, we will keep you updated on all the latest news on the game.
