Forza Motorsport launched in a rough state last month, with players experiencing technical issues from graphics glitches to losing career progression. Some of these problems were fixed in the first patch update, but players are still having issues.
Since then, Turn 10 has been working on the next update to hopefully resolve these issues. That update is now live, with Forza Motorsport Update 2 bringing lots of bug fixes and plenty of new content, as outlined in the patch notes.
New cars
Forza Motorsport Update 2 brings two new reward cars: the 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB. The former can be won in the Prestige Tour, while the latter can be won in the Open Class Series.
In addition, there are eight new Spotlight have been added to the showroom, with a 30% discount available for a limited time:

Yas Marina comes to Forza Motorsport
As well as new cars, Forza Motorsport Update 2 brings Yas Marina to the track roster. Home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, there are four layouts: Full, North, South, and North Corkscrew. The Built for Sport, Premium Performance, C8 Challenge and S Class Open Series have also been refreshed to feature Yas Marina.
In addition, the UAE-based circuit also features in a new Prestige Tour as well as the Forza GT and Forza Touring Car Spec Series in Featured Multiplayer, and Featured Rivals events.

That’s not all. Forza Motorsport Update 2 also brings new Prestige Tour and Open Class – Italian Manufacturers career events, new multiplayer events, and new Rivals events. Crucially, the update also fixes bugs and improves overall stability across all platforms, reducing game crashes.

Note: We’re investigating an issue where in specific scenarios, players running an AMD GPU might encounter a slight impact to their framerate during gameplay.
