Forza Motorsport arrived on Xbox Series X|S and PC earlier this month. While reviews were generally positive, Forza Motorsport’s current-gen debut was marred with an array of technical issues and glitches.
Patch updates and hotfixes have improved the experience and adjusted the car progression, but many of Forza Motorsport’s launch issues are still unresolved.
Turn 10 has addressed these issues in a community post, confirming that Forza Motorsport Update 2 will contain over 200 fixes when it arrives in mid-November.
Forza Motorsport update 2 will include over 200 fixes
“We understand how frustrating these are, especially when they may hinder your full enjoyment of the game, and we intend to resolve them as soon as possible,” Turn 10 wrote. “We are committed to supporting Forza Motorsport in the long term by delivering monthly content updates and quality-of-life improvements.”
The post goes on to say that Forza Motorsport update 2 will contain over 200 fixes for highly reported issues, focusing on areas such as the livery editor, multiplayer, and wheel support.
Even after installing the update 1.1 hotfix, some players are still experiencing the notorious infinite load screen bug where the load screen freezes when saving a quick upgrade in the Builders Cup career, resulting in career progress being lost. It’s disappointing to see Forza Motorsport released in this state for a first-party game in development for six years.
Turn 10 is “investigating this issue very carefully” and believes it has “identified the root cause.” The studio adds it hopes to “better resolve this issue soon.” Further stability improvements are also planned beyond update 2.0.

Yas Marina coming to Forza Motorsport next month
As well as bug fixes, Forza Motorsport will get its first free content update in November. Monthly updates will add new cars and tracks, with the mid-November update bringing Yas Marina to the track list. Home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Yas Marina has appeared in every Forza Motorsport game since FM5 on Xbox One, so it’s not surprising to see the famous F1 circuit return. Yas Marina will be seamlessly integrated into the career mode.
More tracks will be added in future updates, including an unannounced circuit in December and the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Spring 2024. According to Turn 10’s Dan Greenawalt, Forza Motorsport’s recreation of the Green Hell will be the "most accurate Nordschleife ever available."
