Gran Turismo 7 has introduced a new online time trial that takes you to the iconic Nürburgring GP, a 5.1 km long real-world circuit-type track in Germany.
If you are someone who likes putting their skills to the test or is practicing for the upcoming GT7 esports events, this lap time challenge is definitely for you.
Gran Turismo 7 Nürburgring GP Lap Time Challenge
This new lap time challenge in GT7 takes players to the Nürburgring GP, a real-world circuit-type track in Germany that’s around 5.1 km long.
In this race, you are allowed to use the Hyundai ELANTRA N'23, the ultimate high-performance front-wheel-drive sports sedan. It has a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 276.1 HP and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
However, despite being quite a capable and powerful car, there are some limitations, as the vehicle should be equipped with sports hard tires and a wide body, along with nitrous/overtake being prohibited.
Here are the race settings for this online time trial in GT7:
- BoP/Tuning Prohibited: On
- Car Settings: Specified
- Track Limit: Normal
- Shortcut Penalty: Invalidate Time
Currently, the top contenders are racing around the 2:20.299 mark with a DR of A+ and an SR of S.
These lap time challenges are updated every week, with each challenge available for around two weeks.
