The first week of February brings a fresh set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges to complete. Week 1 features a new Special Event and a fun snow race in the Suzuki Jimny off-roader introduced in Update 1.42. Here’s what you can expect in week one of Gran Turismo 7’s February Weekly Challenges.
GT7 Weekly Challenges January 2024 Week 4
GT7’s Weekly Challenges update at midnight local time on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings depending on your time zone. You need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie to access them.
This week’s GT7 Weekly Challenges start on 1 February at midnight local time and end on 8 February at the same time.
Jimny Cup
Lake Louise Short Track Reverse - 3 laps
The first challenge starts the dinky Suzuki Jimny XG off-roader for a three-lap race at the Lake Louise snow track. You’ll need to own a Jimny for this event as the off-roader can’t be loaned like in the Daily Races and buy a set of snow tyres. There’s no PP cap, so don’t be afraid to tune it up.
There’s a bigger prize reward than usual for the first entry-level event, as you can win 35,000 credits for taking victory. Be aware that you’ll need to have started Bonus Menu Book 50 unlocked at Collector Level 28 before you can access this event.
Special Event - Tesla Model 3 – One Make
Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Infield A - 3 laps
There’s a new Special Event this week to shake things up. As the name suggests, this is a one-make event with the Tesla Model 3 Performance, so you’ll need to own the electric saloon to enter. This is a three-lap race around Blue Moon Speedway with ten cars on the grid and a 35,000 credit reward for first place. Again, there are no PP restrictions in this event.
World Touring Car 600
Tokyo Expressway – South Counterclockwise – 5 laps
The next event takes place at the tight and technical Tokyo Expressway street circuit. You can enter any car capped at 600pp or less and you’ll be facing rivals in Japanese cars like the Honda NSX and Subaru WRX in this five-lap race, with 80,000 credits on offer for first place.
Vision Gran Turismo Trophy
Autodromo Nazionale Monza – 5 laps
The next event showcases the high-tech Vision Gran Turismo concepts. As such, you’ll need to own a Vision GT car to enter this event such as the Ferrari Vision GT or the Genesis Vision GT added in update 1.42 last week, but there’s an 850PP limit to keep the playing field even.
As well as owning a Vision GT, you need to start Bonus Menu Book 41 unlocked at Collector Level 20. Take the win and you’ll earn 85,000 credits.
World Touring Car 700
Mount Panorama – 7 laps
The fifth and final challenge sees you racing high-performance GT cars with a 700PP limit around Mount Panorama, a circuit filled with high-speed straights, challenging hairpins, and steep elevation changes. With 10x fuel consumption and 15x tyre wear, this is a demanding seven-lap race so you’ll need to make a pit stop. It’s worth the effort though, as you’ll earn 165,000 credits for finishing first.
As for this week’s bonus rewards, you can win a 6-Star Roulette Ticket (parts) for completing one event, a 200,000-Credit Ticket for three events, and a 5-Star Roulette Ticket for five events. Don’t forget you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to qualify for the rewards.
As well as the Weekly Challenges, this week brings a fresh set of GT7 Daily Races to tackle.
