Gran Turismo 7 update 1.36 launched today, bringing four new cars to the expanding roster alongside new Café Menu Books and World Circuit events. However, the update also contains a free car you may have missed.
This free car in Gran Turismo 7 is only available for a limited time, so don’t miss out. Here’s how to claim it.
How to claim free Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 in Gran Turismo 7
To celebrate the release of the Gran Turismo movie this week, GT7 players can claim the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 seen in the movie for free. The free gift car features a special livery based on the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 driven by lead character Jann Mardenborough played by Archie Madekwe.
If you live in the UK, select cinemas are showing preview screenings today, so it’s worth checking your local cinema. Gran Turismo will then race into UK cinemas on 9 August.
Unfortunately, US movie-goers have to wait a bit longer as Gran Turismo is delayed until 25 August amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes.
To claim the free car in Gran Turismo 7, select the ‘Celebrate the release of the Gran Turismo movie!’ panel in the top-right of the World Map. A trailer for the Gran Turismo will then play.
Once you’ve watched the trailer, the special edition movie livery Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 will be automatically added to your garage for free. You have until 28 September to claim this free car in GT7, so don’t miss out.
If you miss the promotion, the Gran Turismo movie livery version of the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 will be added to Brand Central at a later date.
At the same time, Polyphony is running a special limited-time online time trial event featuring the Nismo GT3 to celebrate the release of the Gran Turismo movie until 28 September.
