McLaren’s home race went so well, F1 25 is offering a free McLaren x Chrome livery to mark the moment.
It may look like a simple cosmetic, but it is actually the first real-world livery in the game, and it is free to collect.
Make sure to log in between July 30 and September 16, 2025, or you’ll miss the chance to claim it.
Once in the game, head over to the Player Hub and look for the mail icon in the top-right corner of the menu.
You’ll find the Chrome livery reward waiting there. Open it, claim it, and it’ll be added to your customization library permanently.
However, be sure to claim it before the deadline, as the offer will be gone for good once the season ends.
How Does the New Livery System Work in F1 25?
Unlike previous entries where special liveries were either temporary or tied to the F1 World car, F1 25 changes how these designs work.
From now on, liveries are directly linked to the actual F1 teams. So, for this McLaren x Google Chrome design, it will only show up when you race as McLaren.
It can be used in Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Career Mode. You can switch between standard and special liveries anytime during Career by going to Driver Details, then Customisation, and selecting Livery Select.
