There aren't many hardcore sims like Assetto Corsa on consoles, and even fewer rally racers. For Assetto Corsa Rally, it is kicking things off through early access, and consoles generally don't get early release for PC-focused titles like this. But what about when the full version drops?
The franchise does have a history on the platform. Assetto Corsa Competizione is available on consoles, and EVO is also set to receive a port at some point in the future.
Competizione is still one of the very best and perhaps the definitive title for living out your GT racing dreams. Here's whether Assetto Corsa Rally will also fill the void of all the rowdy motorsport fans on PlayStation and Xbox.
Will Assetto Corsa Rally Release on Consoles?

Yes, Assetto Corsa Rally is confirmed to have a console version of the title in development. Game Director Irvin Zonca confirmed during the SimRacing Expo that they’re “already working on consoles.” (Thanks, traxion.gg)
We do not, however, know when the console version will be available and whether it'll be a cross-gen title. Zonca did mention the focus right now is on PC release, so console players will have to wait at least a year or longer to get either a release or a hint at the launch date.
Even the PC release does not have a tentative schedule. In their announcement FAQ, devs wrote that they expect the early access to last somewhere between 12 and 18 months, depending on how things pan out. With no roadmap to go by, expect the game to hit PC in late 2026 at the earliest. Console players may have to wait even longer.
The game will also likely be available only for the current generation of consoles. Competizione itself struggled heavily in previous generations, and given that Assetto Corsa Rally is billed to have a similar obsession with detail, only the latest hardware would cut it.
Although a console port is planned, there’s no confirmation yet on whether VR support will extend to PSVR 2. It does seem unlikely to happen, but we'll keep you updated on the latest news.
